We may rely on Third-Party cloud-based software platforms (“Third-Party Platforms”) to collect additional information such as your email address, date of birth, credit card or bank account information, and other information that enables us to provide you the Services. Any information you provide through a designated Third-Party Platform will be stored only on that Third-Party Platform in accordance with that Third-Party Platform’s privacy policy and practices. 

Our access to information stored on these Third-Party Platforms is limited (through user/password credentials and software systems) to those employees who require it to perform their job functions. 

These Third-Party Platforms do not operate under this Policy and may independently solicit and collect information from you, and may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to do so. While we believe that the Third-Party Platforms we use to collect, store and access your information take similar steps to protect any personal data collected through these Third-Party Platforms, we do not have any control over the data security practices of these Third-Party Platforms. As such, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to these Third-Party Platforms. We recommend that you consult the privacy policies of all Third-Party Platforms you visit.

  • Email Communications. We may from time to time send you emails regarding our products or services. We will remove you from the relevant mailing list(s) or campaign(s) as soon as reasonably possible. State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information. 

Additional Privacy Notice for California Residents

California’s Shine the Light Law 

California law entitles residents to ask for a notice describing what categories of personal information we share with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Unless you request us to or consent to it (opt-in), Nice Car Company does not share any personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)

If you are a California resident you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). These rights are designed to give you more control over your personal data. Here’s a summary of your rights:

    • The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected.

This means we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of quality based on your exercising these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

In order to verify you are the person about whom we have collected information, you will need to provide certain information when you submit your request which we will then attempt to match with information we already maintain.

Other State Privacy Laws

Other states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process their personal information.

  • Access and delete certain personal information.

  • Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information's nature processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).

  • Data portability.

  • Opt-out of personal data processing for:

    • targeted advertising (excluding Iowa);

    • sales; or 

    • profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (excluding Iowa and Utah).

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out rights may submit a request to operations@nice.car.

Do Not Track Policy

Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. Where available, you may choose to enable an online tool that automatically communicates your universal opt-out preferences, such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). You may need to use a specific browser or an extension that supports these tools and universal signals. We do not currently take actions to respond to Do Not Track signals because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed.  We continue to review new technologies and may adopt a standard once one is created
